Loew Signed a New Contract

The German Football Association and coach Loew completed the contract. Loew with the German Football Association's contract is to2018, after the contract, Loew's contract will be extended to 2020.


After the 2006 World Cup, Loew officially became Germany's head coach. He has led the team participating in the 2008 European Cup, 2010 World Cup, 2012 European Cup and 2014 World Cup. In 2014 Brazil World Cup, he helped Germany won the World Cup. After the completion of the contract, Loew will continue leading the team until the end of the European Cup in 2020, but at present, the team's primary goal is 2018 World Cup in Russia.


Since 2006, Loew has led the German team for ten years, and coached a total of 141 games. Loew's coaching career ranked second in the German team history, just behind the legendary coach Sepp Herberger.  Herberger led the German team playing 167 games and making 94 victories. Loew's winning percentage is very high, obtained 94 wins in 141 games.
