Manchester United officially announced that the team have signed one year contract with Carrick. Carrick, 35 years old, will continue to stay at Old Trafford.
Carrick and Manchester United's contract will expire at the end of June. Their negotiation was delayed before. West Ham, Everton and other teams want to introduce him. When Mourinho taking office, he hoped to keep Carrick stay, the two sides eventually reached a contract.
Carrick joined Manchester United from Tottenham in 2006 with 18.6 million pounds.
